jeremy piven inspired portraits

The Project. Create a portrait of bob dylan inspired by Jeremy Pivens. The objective was to show who the person was using the least amount of symbols or pointing signs. For Dylan I chose the harmonica and the sunglasses. Shape of head and hair were carefully considered when doing the portrait. I origanally had it without the distressed look and it looks shitty. But i am very please with the results as was the class. Crit was awesome.

Line Icon Animal

This project was to design an animal in one line. plain and simple. Phase one: a hand drawing bottom. I did over 35 versions of the hippo and chose this one. Phase two: A vector Drawing done in illustrator CS3, love that pen tool. Phase 3 model the vector drawing using wire. My critique was awesome and it was a really successful project.

graphic translations

Original vector drawing of the Gibson Les Paul.

This project was titled graphic translations. I chose a Gibson Les Paul. sexy. Here are 6 translations. My
crit went pretty stellar i might say.. I really was not to keen on this project but I tried my best to have a successful project.

product and packaging design

the assignment: design a product, its package, and everything else to make a believable concept. I designed a line of vodka product called inebriate. it comes in 5 flavors, pomegranate, star fruit, apple, lemon, and pear. I designed and marketed it for a younger crowd, but not leaving out the older generations. crit went well, i think it came together nice.
